School Counseling

Our mission as school counselors is to support students in reaching their academic, career, and social-emotional goals. We strive to create a safe, supportive environment where all students can thrive. This is achieved through collaboration with parents, staff, and community partners to promote student success and well-being.

Certified School Counselors

Our program has carefully designed a comprehensive counseling program to assist all of our students in acquiring the knowledge and skills required to succeed in whatever post-secondary options they choose. Our mission is to provide challenging opportunities for all students to:
  • Learn about themselves
  • Develop effective study skills
  • Transfer what they learn in school to real-life situations.
  • Understand and value education
  • Make sound decisions
  • Manage conflicts
  • Adapting to changing circumstances
  • Work independently as well as with a team
  • Develop effective communication skills
  • Accept personal responsibilities
  • Develop respect for others from diverse cultures
  • Develop and utilize critical thinking skills
  • Explore career opportunities
